logos: best and worst of 2008

paraphrasing from brand new‘s roundup… some of the best

and worst re-worked corporate logos from the past year:

one especially intruiging case is that of the redesigned Pepsi logo (follow the discussion here).  we have to admit, though the commenters make a good point about the strangely rippled plastic bottles and possibly out-of-date font, we’re kind of digging the streamlined look.  other thoughts?
